5 Young Players To Watch Out For In The Premier League This Season
Manchester City - Phil Foden
The heir apparent to David Silva is a gifted young playmaker with outstanding technical ability on the ball and an eye for goal as shown by his performances for England's U17 & U21 teams. This coming season could be his big first team breakthrough.
Liverpool - Rhian Brewster
Brewster was one of the stars of England's U17 World Cup winning team in 2017 along with the likes of Foden and Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho. An unfortunate ankle injury ruled Brewster out for most of last season and as a result he has yet to make his Premier League first team debut but with 4 goals in 3 pre-season appearances he has already shown that he is a major talent to look out for this coming season.
Chelsea - Christian Pulisic
It may feel like he's been around forever but Chelsea's newest signing is still only 20 years old and therefore still has room to improve and get better as a player. This coming season will be his best opportunity yet to improve his performances and become the world class player that many had thought he would become after his breakthrough first season at Dortmund.
Tottenham Hotspur - Oliver Skipp
The 18 year old has been one of Spurs' top players so far this pre-season displaying technical ability and maturity far beyond his years. With Spurs' transfer budget remaining as tight as ever, Skipp should feature more prominently this coming season and it will be interesting to see how he develops as the season progresses.
Manchester United - Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Right back has been something of a problem area for Manchester United for quite some time now which explains why United moved so quickly to secure Wan-Bissaka's transfer from Crystal Palace fairly early in the transfer window. At just 21 years old Wan-Bissaka is already one of the best right backs in the Premier League with the perfect blend of defensive solidity and attacking prowess and he could prove to be a very important attacking outlet out on the right wing for Manchester United this season.
Which young player do you think will make the biggest impact this season?
